Ice-O-Matic MFI0800A Air-Cooled Flake Ice Machine produces soft flakes of ice, up to a capacity of 900 lbs., which can be molded to any shape. This flake-styled ice maker is a popular choice for seafood presentations, maintaining freshness in perishables, healthcare applications, produce displays, salad bars, transportation of perishables, and is widely used in bakeries.
The air-cooled ice maker is equipped with 1-piece stainless-steel auger, industrial-grade roller bearings, and heavy-duty gearbox, and evaporators created with heavy-duty rugged stainless steel which ensures reliability and affirms a longer serviceable life span. It has a copper coil which ensures efficient heat transfers and balanced loads. The ice maker requires a 6-inches of clearance space for front and rear air exchanges.
The flake ice maker is equipped with SystemSafe load monitoring feature, which automatically shuts down overload is detected, preventing it from damages. The ice making machine uses R-404A refrigerant and is equipped with a water level sensor, which monitors and informs of low water levels. The flake ice machine is made with Agion antimicrobial materials that curb the growth of pathogens.
