The Brix pump is a proportionating device that pumps water and concentrates in an exact ratio. This pump has a 4:1 ratio that remains fixed, independent of system flow or pressure changes. The fixed ratio is precisely maintained on every portion delivery, eliminating the chances of errors in mixing. The pumps are driven by pressurized water, operating whenever there is a difference between the inlet and outlet sides of the pump.
Shurflo pumps come with a vacuum shutoff that automatically halts the operation when Bag-in-Box (BIB) container is completely evacuated. You can easily restart the operation can by installing the new BIB container. The proportionating pumps maintain the correct ratio and deliver the consistent quality of the drink, eradicating the need for installing the metering devices.
